Hotel near the pebble beaches of Lake Como

Every summer I spend several weeks on Lake Como and close to my favourite beach a new hotel has opened. Normally there are no hotels in my selection, but for this hotel I made an exception because of its unique position. It is located in the village within walking distance of the lake (100 metres). Restaurants, bars and shops are also easy to reach on foot. You can walk along a promenade beside the lake to a small fishing harbour with a number of cafes and restaurants.

Pool & panoramic bar

The hotel has a panoramic breakfast room overlooking the lake, where a good breakfast buffet is served. There is also a bar for a cappuccino or a drink. The hotel’s restaurant specializes in wood oven pizza, but other dishes are  served. When the weather permits, you can eat outside. The hotel has a swimming-pool(15x7m) with a shallow end for children and a jacuzzi area. In the evening the pool is beautifully illuminated in different colours.

Rooms

The hotel has in total 40 rooms, standard rooms with mountain views and ten superior rooms with views of the pool and the lake. There are also family rooms with a double bed and a sofa that can be used as a bunk bed for max. 2 children (under 12). Or superior family rooms consisting of 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The comfortable rooms have modern interiors and are equipped with good beds, air conditioning, satellite TV, wifi, safe, kettle, hair dryer and minibar. Every room has a small balcony or terrace. You can park your car under the hotel.
