Cozy and authentic agriturismo with pizza night
 

It doesn't happen often that I'm already drinking wine in the morning, but I could not refuse the wine tasting they offered me! I must, after all, know what they offer my clients when they stay here. That is why I took my first sip of wine produced at the agriturismo already at 11 am! This is clearly an agriturismo for lovers of wine and Tuscan cuisine. The agriturismo is surrounded by 75 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and grain fields, and it's therefore peacefuly situated. Still, the famous Tuscan towns are not far from the agriturismo: Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra and also the seaside are all within easy reach by car from the agriturismo.

Pizza night and winebar

The short road to the agriturismo is unpaved but in good condition. When you drive up the hill, in between the cypress trees, you will already feel in Tuscany. At the top you have magnificent views. In the garden of the agriturismo is a swimming pool and a small playground. Once a week - in high season - they make pizza in the wood oven. The owners prepare the dough and the tomato sauce and everyone is free to make his own pizza, with your own selected ingredients. After the pizzas are baked they will be eaten together on the lovely terrace of the agriturismo. Also a nice way to get to know the other guests staying the agriturismo!  It is also possible to have breakfast and in the wine bar you can taste their wines and olive oil and some local cheese and salumi. 

The apartments

The apartments are located in the large colonial farmhouse from the 17th century. Since last year they have built two new apartments and two rooms in the former wine cellar of the agritursimo. The apartments in the farmhouse are characterized by a rustic, classic Tuscan style interior while the new apartments and rooms are decorated in a more modern way. The agriturismo has a total of 7 apartments: 4 are located on the first floor and 3 on ground floor. The two recently rennovated apartments and rooms are located on ground floor. These apartments can be connected with an extra room to create a larger apartment with two bedrooms. Wi-Fi is available on site and you can use a common washing machine.
